We are excited to announce two key appointments to our executive management team and advisory group. Steve Carr who will be based in the San Diego office and Taylor Chapel will be joining the newly expanded Dallas office. Steve brings a vast experience with master planned communities, multi-family product and strategic market analysis. Taylor strengthens our significant Texas operation and expands our commercial market and senior housing capabilities.
Stephen Carr – Vice President, San Diego
In his 24 year career, Steve has worked extensively within a variety residential real estate functions, including site selection and development, due diligence, acquisitions, sales and marketing. He is an experienced advisor who has been actively engaged in real estate valuation, consumer research, product design and target marketing throughout the United States. Stephen’s expertise in consumer and demographic data gathering, analysis and interpretation is focused on enhancing volume and revenue performance. Prior to joining Meyers, Stephen worked for a nationally recognized advisory firm and public homebuilder. Some of his diverse assignments included urban in-fill, resort, master plans, base re-use, active adult, student housing, and apartment.
Taylor Chapel – Research Consultant, Dallas
Taylor collects and analyzes economic, market and demographic trends providing clients with in-depth and accurate market insights to support strategic decision-making. He graduated in 2011 from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Economics with focus on finance and real estate. Taylor was a member of the Texas A&M University baseball team in 2008 and previously played at Abilene Christian University. Before joining the Meyers team, he was a Staff Appraiser with C. L. McDade & Company, a regional commercial real estate appraisal firm. He has also worked in the finance industry with Robertson, Griege and Thoele Financial Advisors and J.P. Morgan Chase & Company.
